TitleEnvelope 12: Photographs of the Men's Fellowship and other Boys' Groups at King George's Hall
Date(s)c. 1938
DescriptionEnvelope labelled '12' and entitled:

'Men's Meetings.
Men's Fellowship Tea Party
Fellowship in Poplar.
Billiard Room.'

Contains eight black and white photographs which are predominantly images of groups of men at meetings, events and during recreational time spent reading, watching film screenings and playing games (e.g. billiards and draughts), although there are some women included in the images, such as Mrs Lax, who features in a photograph of the Men's Fellowship tea party. Additionally, one of the photographs is of a group of boys with a model ship and a painting of a ship visible in the background, probably The Crew of the Old Ship boys' group in Poplar. Judging from the nature of the activities and time period, the photographs were most likely taken in King George's Hall.

Some of the photographs have notes/calculations and other markings (both on the front and reverse of the images) so have probably been previously used in publications and for display.
