Contains ten black and white images (of which five are photographs and four are postcards), which match the descriptors on the envelope as listed above. The postcards contain images of children, some with markings/calculations on the reverse of the card and on the images themselves. The photographs consist of four images of adults and one of children. The photograph of children has markings on both sides and is annotated with the text 'off the High St Poplar' on the reverse of the image. The remaining three photographs are individual portraits of men and women, some of which have annotated titles on the reverse, such as, 'a vagrant' and 'a [sic] elderly Poplar Lady'. |
