Contains one black and white photograph of men marching with banners along East India Dock Road. Harry Neave's (Goldsmith and Jeweller) shop premises at 177 East India Dock Road is visible and a banner in the foreground of the photograph reads 'Poplar Contingent Work or Maintenance'. The reverse of the photograph is annotated with the text 'GW' and 'Poplar Unemployed Men's March 1920'. The 'GW' most likely refers to Gladys Whiffin, daughter of the photographer William Whiffin.
