DescriptionSixteen black and white photographs including images of: group meetings; exercise classes; nativity plays; film screenings; preparation of Christmas gifts for children (featuring Mrs Lax); a men's fellowship group getting refreshments at the canteen; tea parties; knitting groups (this may be at Trinity Church); excursions to places (such as, to Cliff Edge holiday home) and also one photograph of Reverend Lax's funeral. Highlights include a photograph of ladies relaxing in 'The Sun Parlour' at Cliff Edge, which is particularly evocative of the 1920s - 1930s era.

Some of the photographs have pencil calculations/annotations on the reverse so may have been reproduced/used for display at some point.
