At end is written
"The second part to ye same Tune. N.B. another very good Discourse may yet be culled from the same Sermon. If any one chuses it, but it is objections answer'd. which objections a country congregation c'd never learn if yr. answers did not teach them."
On the last page are details of when preached as follows:
"Mareham. Feb. ye. 1st. 1767. The snow gone comfortably warm. (?)N.B. Bravissimo.
Thrandeston March 27th 1768. tedious & tiring to Death
Palgrave & Thrandeston Jan. 14. 1770.
Poplar. June 23. 1782
Poplar. 3d. March 1793. went down in a storm expected to have been translated into ye seventh heaven. returned to dine with Mrs Weddell(?) to meet Palgrave. Nothing new at Poplar. N.B. think my (?)S.will marry the Ch. Jer.(?) Alas. Alas. All flesh is grass!"
