To guarantee the right of Mary Stilgoe of New Gravel Lane, Stepney, the intended wife of (1), to an annuity of £20 due to her under the will of Edward Arlibear, late of Wapping Wall, gent (1667), out of property bequeathed to his grandson (also Edward Arlibear), should she survive (1). Mary was Arlibear's daughter-in-law, formerly married to his son Edward, and then to Jeremiah Stilgoe of Stepney, citizen and clothworker of London; a previous bond of 9 July 1660 between Arlibear, described as 'shipwright' and Jeremiah Stilgoe, guaranteeing her the same annuity, is recited.
Witnesses: John Maxfield, scribe; Gilbert Brandon, his servant.
