DescriptionThe property, entailed to Cornelius Hooker after the death of his father Colonel Edward Hooker, consisted of a messuage, vinegar yard, sheds, gatehouse, warehouse, stillhouse etc, occupied by Widow Perrier; an adjoining brewhouse occupied by John Stonyer; 33 messuages occupied by Widow Taylor, Walter Long, Edward Perry, Mr Burrowes, Mr Duckett, Widow Milbourne, Thomas Ralfe, and Widow Hammond between them, and probably single tenements occupied by a further 27 tenants. The vinegar yard may be the same as that in P/SLC/1/10/16.
