DescriptionProbate will of William Tilt, formerly of Cheapside but late of St. Paul's Churchyard, confectioner, made 24 April 1807. Bequeaths his house and shop in St. Paul's Churchyard, his share in the business of confectioner and £2000 worth of stock to his wife Mary and son William. Appoints Benjamin Brecknell of the Haymarket, wax and tallow chandler, and William Marriott jun. of York Place, City Road, stockbroker, his executors and trustees, and directs them to sell the residue of his property and give a third of the proceeds to his wife and retain two-thirds in trust until his four children William, Thomas Henry, Charles and Mary attain full age. Proved in the P.C.C., 26 November 1807.
