TitleMcCarthy Sketchbook
Date(s)20th Century
DescriptionA beige drawing book filled with rough sketches. It is bound with card and staples along the spine. It is approximately twenty seven and a half centimetres tall by eighteen and a half wide. Most of the sketches are of male nudes. There are no page numbers.

One of the loose images appears to be similar to McCarthy's experimental sketches depicting various poses similar to those found in P/MCC/1/11. A purple bookmark describes it as a 'multi-image picture'.

Number of Sketches: 12
Extent1 item
PhysicalDescriptionCondition: As with both P/MCC/2/1 and P/MCC/2/2, this drawing book is in poor condition. The card covers have begun to peel upwards at the corners, and rusty staples are once again a cause for concern. The edges of some of the pages inside have become ragged and torn, and a large number have come away from the spine. In addition, one of the pages has been torn in half vertically, damaging one of the sketches.
