DescriptionA very large green sketchbook filled with rough drawings. It is bound with card at the front and board at the back connected by a metal spiral binder. The book is approximately twenty five and a half centimetres tall by thirty six wide. The sketches inside are a combination of McCarthy's usual male nudes and general drawings depicting the male form. There are no page numbers.

The sketches inside this sketchbook are typical of McCarthy and contain no particularly unusual details.

PhysicalDescriptionCondition: The condition of this sketchbook is relatively good. Externally the front cover is marked and discoloured due to paint and ink, and there are creases where the card meets the metal binding. As with P/MCC/1/6, the metal binding is a concern due to the potential encroachment of rust. Inside the book there is slight evidence of puckering due to paint on opposing pages but other than that the condition is very good.
