Also details of cases involving children of maritime officers receiving pensions as adults due to their infirmity (Mary Bussey, Mary Burgess, Elizabeth Newcomen, Esther S. Bell, Sophia C. Bowers, Martha Roberts and Loretta H. Foord, all 1840s). Also, names rank and date of admission to the Fund of 29 persons having additional income from other sources; sheets with financial details re the Fund to 1866; and sheet of c 1856 listing names of almshouse residents (18 people in the "Upper Buildings", 38 in the "Lower Buildings". |
