DescriptionPrintouts compiled by Alan Conway from digital photographs of original memorabilia in his care, relating to Frank and Mimi Conway and their businesses from the mid-1940s-1970s. Includes copies from scrapbooks, photographs and transcripts of taped conversations with Frank Conway (made circa 1962) and his brother and sister-in-law Alf and Hilda (in 1988) about their memories of working life. Also printout copies of colour photographs of Toynbee Street shopfronts and street scenes. Also covers their market stalls in Petticoat Lane / Middlesex Street, Wentworth Street and Toynbee Street, Whitechapel; and Frank also auctioneering in Commercial Street / Petticoat Lane.

The printouts are arranged in three sets, each with a numbered contents listing corresponding to each image. Also includes 'Frank Conway' a background by Alan Conway.
