| RelatedMaterial | An advertisement for the ninth sale of surplus property of the North London Railway Company, by the auctioneers Beadel & Sons (25 Gresham Street, EC), appeared in 'The Times' of 22 October 1859 (p. 12). The sale included 44 plots of land fronting Lefevre Road and Old Ford Road (together with other plots in Islington and elsewhere); all lots were staked on the ground and conferred votes for the county. The particulars, including lithographic plans, were available from the solicitors Paine & Layton, 47 Gresham House, Old Broad Street. |
