6 May 1747: To cash of Mr William Walker, Churchwarden, for the year 1745, the Balance of his Account
6 May 1746: To cash received of Mr Joseph Hefford and Captain George Steevens [Stevens], late Overseers of the Poor for the year 1745, the balance of their Accounts.
We (among others) whose names are Subscribed Inhabitants of the Hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall in the Parish of Stepney in the County of Middlesex have, pursuant to a Warrant from Ebenezer Mussell and Boulton Mainwaring, Esquires, two of His Majesty's Justices of The Peace for the said County examined the aforegoing Accounts of Mr Brown, Churchwarden of the said Hamlet for the year 1746 and find by the same that there remains in the hands of the said John Brown the sum of Nine Pounds ten shillings and two pence farthing for the use of the Hamlet.
