We among others whose names are subscribed in pursuiances of a warrant under the handsand seals of Richard Ricards and John Lawton esquires two of His majesty's Justices of the Peace for the county of Middlesex have examined the aforegoing accounts for Mr William Heaviside and Mr John May late overseers in the parish of Stepney in the county of Middlesex for the year 1744 and find the same true and right and that there remained in the hands of the said late the sum of overseers the sum of forty one pounds, six shillings and eleven pence half penny which they have this day paid into the hands of Mr William Walker the present churchwarden of the said Hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall. Witnessed our hands, 11 June 1745:
