DescriptionWe among others whose names are subscribed inhabitants of the hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall in the parish of Stepney in the county of Middlesex, have examined the aforegoing accounts of Mr John Taylor and Mr John Cooper, late overseers of the poor of the said hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall, for the year 1754, and find the same true and right and that there remains in the hands of the late overseers the sum of ninety pounds, thirteen shillings and sixpence three farthings, which they have this day paid into the hands of Captain George Stevens, church warden of the said hamlet.
