11 January 1754: To cash received of Mr John Perry, and Mr George Smith, Surveyor of the Highway, to be paid the turnpike.
11 January 1754: To cash received of Mr Cook, late Surveyor.
23 May 1754: To cash received of Mr William Strange and Mr Warren Burnie, for the use of the Hamlet.
We, among others whose names are subscribed inhabitants of the Hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall in the parish of Stepney in the county of Middlesex, have examined the aforegoing accounts of Mr Christopher Felton, church warden of the said Hamlet for the year 1753 and find the same to be just and right.
