| Description | Overseers' debts/ Cash brought over.
We, among other, whose names are subscribed inhabitants of the hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall, in the parish of Stepney in the county of Middlesex, in pursuance of a warrant under the hands and seals of Thomas Quarril and Walter Berry esquire, two of His Majesty's justices of the Peace for the said county of Middlesex, have examined the aforegoing accounts of Mr Francis Barwick and Mr Joseph Bell , late overseers of the poor for the said hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall for the year 1751, and find the same true and right and that there remained in the hands of the late overseers the sum of twenty eight pounds, two shillings and two pence farthing, which they have this day paid into the hands of Mr William Stevens the present church warden of the said hamlet.
