We (among others) whose names are Subscribed Individuals of the Hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall in the parish of Stepney in the county of Middlesex, have pursuant to a Warrant from Walter Berry and Sir Samuel Gower, esquires, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said county, examined the aforegoing accounts of Mr John Mitchell, churchwarden of the said Hamlet for the year 1749, and find by the same that there remains due to Mr John Mitchell £19 12s, 7 pence farthing.
