The other main schemes funded by the Spitalfields Project were were:
Health: Bi-Lingual health visitor, Health centre, Health studies in relation to Bengalis - infant nutrition, pre and post natal arrangements, Equipment for intense care unit at the London Hospital, Care workers scheme.
Housing: Weaver House scheme
Employment: Preparatory training scheme, Job creation scheme, Tower Hamlets Training Forum, Belgravia Works Feasibility Study.
Environment: Davis Mansion Site, Spitalfields Farm, Murals, Tree and shrub planting, landscaping, fencing, " Traffic management schemes.
Education: Tower Hamlets Education Advice, East End Community School,
Community/Leisure: Brady Centre, Community Transport, Whitechapel baths, Whitechapel Art gallery, Existing playgrounds, Youth Clubs and Residents Associations.
Under 5's: Playgroups, summer play schemes and toy libraries.
Elderly: Montefiore Food Co-Op, Good Neighbour Scheme, Social Clubs and Associations
Ethnic minorities: Kobi Nazrul Community Centre, Youth Groups, Women's Groups. |
