AdminHistoryHarry Roberts Nursery School, Harford Street, Stepney open in 1971. It was built and furnished at a cost of £32,000 by the Inner London Education Authority and was the second full nursery school to be provided under the Urban Programme. It takes its name from the well-known East End general practitioner and philanthropist, Dr. Harry Roberts, who had a surgery in Harford Street.
