| Description | Explains that Clippingdale, of Blackwall Causeway, was the youngest son of John Clippingdale (of Shadwell) and Eleanor (formerly Dodd, of Swallwell, Co. Durham), baptised 6 February 1774 at Shadwell; he married (as his second wife) Ann Randall at All Saints, Poplar, 12 May 1829. He died 2 April 1835 and his will was proved in the P.C.C., 22 April 1835. (Other details regarding his apprenticeship etc. also given). |
