Bills and receipts
- Legacy receipts from the Inland Revenue re the estate of Thomas Rumbold (dated 18 September 1872);
- Receipt for duties paid to Alfred Hicks and Arnold solicitors by Messrs Chalk and Atherton (dated 14 April 1882 );
- Short bill and receipt for surveying work re Rumbold deceased, carried out by Fryer and Son Auctioneers and Valuers and sent to Messrs Hicks and Arnold (dated 24 March 1882);
- Itemised bill from Alfred Hicks and Arnold solicitors entitled 'Messers Hicks and Arnold's Charges re Rumbold deceased'. Contains a detailed list of charges for services provided to Mr. J. J. Chalk from October 1881 - April 1882;
- Handwritten list of charges from Her Majesty's Court of Probate re expenses of obtaining Probate of Thomas Rumbold's Will. The document is dated June 1872, with the receipt for payment dated 9 July 1872.

- Deed of Release from Mr Edwin Rumbold and others to the Trustees of the Will of the late Mr Thomas Rumbold , dated 25 April 1882. James Jabez Chalk, Seymour William Chalk and their spouses, Emily Sarah Chalk and Mary Ann Chalk respectively are all included in the parties listed in the deed. Other pages of signed handwritten declarations (dated November 1878 and January 1882) are attached to the deed, these additional papers are agreements for payments and the proceeds from the sale of property to be given by the executors to Miss Elizabeth Rumbold, daughter of Thomas Rumbold.
