| Description | Large notebook containing annual stocktaking amount records in connection with a Ledger C, dating from April 1946 - April 1974. The volume's title of 'Green Ledger' is printed on a label on the front cover, however, the label is annotated with the letter 'C' and the word 'Red' (the latter written above the 'Green' part of the title).
The volume begins with records of 'Stocktaking Amounts April 1 1946 to 31 March 1947', proceeded by stocktaking amount records for 1948-1973. There are no stocktaking records for 1 April 1973 - 31 March 1974, instead there is a title page which reads 'Stocktaking Amounts April 1st 1973 to March 31st 1974. Amounts Owing: Nil Nil' and a note at the bottom of this page which reads 'Finished 5th April 1974'. There are also various receipts attached to pages within the volume, these usually have titles including the word green, (e.g. 'Green 1949', 'Green Ledger 1971. 'C' Ledger' etc).
The records fill about half of the volume, the remainder is unused. |
