| Description | Very large, untitled volume containing records about accounts held with J. J. and S. W. Chalk dating from April 1968 - September 1970. The letter ''D'' is handwritten on the first page within.
The volume is arranged into two parts, each with its own embedded alphabetic index, with records arranged alphabetically by account holder name within the indexes. At the beginning of each alphabetic section there is table with column headings consisting of the the letters 'A'; 'E'; ' I'; 'O'; 'U' and 'Y' and listings re account holders. Each account section within the two indexes includes lists of the account holder's credits and debits to J. J. and S. W. Chalk, arranged in date order. The first index contains records dating from April 1968 - October 1969; the latter contains records dating from April 1969 - September 1970. Includes listings for accounts sections entitled: 'Private Accounts' and 'Cash in Yard'. |
