| Description | Volume containing (handwritten and typed) minutes of the London Mission (West Ham) Circuit Finance Committee. There is an alphabetic index at the front of the volume followed by the first set of minutes, dated Thursday 2 September 1954. The last minutes recorded within the volume are for a meeting held on Wednesday 28 March 1962.
The minutes contain a note that a scheme of amalgamation was commenced in September 1956 which resulted in Barking Road Methodist Church, Canning Town (from the Seamen's Mission Circuit) and Bridgeland Road Methodist Church, Custom House (from the Poplar and Bow Circuit) being transferred to the West Ham Mission Circuit in September 1957.
Very little of the volume has been used, however, it does contain some loose financial notes/calculations. |
