The first set of minutes within the volume are for a meeting of the General Purposes Committee held on Thursday 16 November 1961; the last set of minutes within the volume are for a meeting of Poplar Methodist Mission combined General Purposes Committee and Circuit Meeting held on Tuesday 5 March 1985. The latter signed off on 18 October 1985.
Minutes are for meetings which are held twice a year, although sometimes a full year elapses between them. The entries are for the most part handwritten, however, later minutes have been typed and stuck into the volume. Last dated minutes are 5 March 1985, signed off on 18 Oct 1985. From 17 October 1983 the meetings are entitled 'combined General Purposes Committee and Circuit Meeting'.
There is some loose documentation at the back of the volume, such as, an Annual Report for Fife Road Methodist Church (Oct 1981); handwritten notes; a meeting agenda and other documentation. |
