| Description | Log of property/premises issues at Trinity Church, 1990-1991. Entitled 'Trinity Church/Poplar Methodist Mission Building/Repairs Log-Diary' on the front cover and 'Property Diary' on the spine. Inside the front cover the name and address of Poplar Methodist Mission are visible, however, they have been scored out. Alongside the scored out details the text 're-named Trinity Methodist Church Poplar' has been written, followed by the church's address and telephone number.
The volume includes a record of issues relating to the Trinity Church building and its facilities, such as, building faults, repairs, signage, fire safety, plumbing, lighting, gas, electricity etc. These issues have been recorded using text and also sometimes diagrams and photographs. Pages are divided into two columns, one to record the date and one for recording details of the issue. The first entry is recorded as 'end June 90' and the second entry is dated 2 July 1990. The volume has only been partially used and the last entry is dated 10 November 1991.
There is also some loose material within the volume, including a photocopy of a letter dated 26 September 1990. This letter is from Mr S Purdy (Surveying and Building Consultants, Chigwell, Essex) to Mr N Austin (Poplar Methodist Mission), regarding tender work. There is also a promotional booklet and related product information about the table repair services offered by E. J. Riley (Billiards) Limited and an annotated photocopy of a plan showing the layout of the church. |
