| AdminHistory | In September 1882 a group of former pupils of St. Michael's School, Bromley (the predecessor of Byron Street School) met to look into ways of helping "piteous appeals for help from Old Boys who had lost their places through illness & who were in great distress". Following this the Byron Street Benevolent Association was formed with its object the "temporary relief of any Old Byron Street School Boy in distress". Its first president was Sir Edmund Hay Currie |
