"Poplar 10 June 1798. A Plump of Perrys at Chapel. call'd of Mrs Hefford, who to my surprize is dying in a
Consumption. She will be a great loss to ye poor. call'd of Mrs C.J. Wheler as I returd. Charles gone
to Uxbridge."
[in different hand?] "Leam. March 21, 1813. Mr. C. Wheler.

"Mareham 1st Ocr. 1797. came from Revesby to breakfast. & left Mr Harrison there. fair,but, dull and dusky.
wish myself in London. ye best home at all ages & in all seasons.
Revesby 15 Oc. 1797. Sr Jos. [??] walk'd to Mareham to view a road making from Mr Nutts to Church. order'd
a foot road also. return'd and finding Suttonst(?) Chaplaine of Enderby here, ye Ladys and Sr Jo.
