| AdminHistory | Thomas Fox was born in Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire in about 1806. He came to London in 1853 to work at the West India Docks and lived in Bistern Place in Blackwall. In 1857 he moved to Ivy Cottages, Bath Street, Poplar. He is described on the 1861 census as a wheelright. After moving to other houses in Bath Street and Susanna Street, in 1870 he moved to Grundy Street. He is described on the 1871 census as a railway truck maker. By 1881 his wife Sophia had died and he was lodging in Burdett Road. He is described on the 1881 census as a carpenter. |
