| Description | Copies on aperture cards, microfilms and some digital copies on CDs and USB. Plans pre-date the copies, some dating from early 1900s or before. Most relate to housing estates, some include baths, libraries and schools and other buildings.
Aperture cards contain microfiche copies of plans giving the housing division; job number; drawing number; plan room reference; title of the job:
For example a card in L/THL/E/2/1 states: 'Leopold Estate, Baythorne Street Site'; 'lift motor room and roof plan between blocks 4 and 5'. The card gives the date, scale and reduction factor of the copy from the original plan. |
