11 June 1745: To cash received of Mr William Heaviside and Mr John May, the late overseers of the poor, the balance of their accounts for 1744
17 June 1745: To cash received of Mr William Heaviside and Mr John May, the late overseers of the poor, received of Mr John Bellamy as administrator of his late father Timothy Bellamy, the late churchwarden, the balance of his accounts for 1744.
17 December 1745 and 11 April 1746: To cash received of Mr William Heaviside and Mr John May, the late overseers of the poor, of Captain George Steevens [Stevens], one of the present overseers of the poor.
We (among others) whose names are subscribed inhabitants of the hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall in the Parish of Stepney in the County of Middlesex, have pursuant to a warrant from Robert Dennett and Boulton Mainwaring esquires, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this said county examined the aforegoing accounts of Mr William Walker, the late churchwarden of the said Hamlet, and find by the same that their remains in the hands of the late Mr Walker, twelve shillings and six pence three farthings, which he has this day paid into the hands of Mr John Brown the present churchwarden of the said Hamlet.
