Also 35mm photographic slides of the factory and Arnold Steel's trip to Finland; and digital copies of family photographs.

AdminHistoryBased at Corbridge Works, The Oval, Bethnal Green, the company originally made carriage wheels and later became 'manufacturers of wooden reels and drums for all sections of the wire and cable industry'.

The business was wound up in voluntary liquidation 1973/74 when plastics took over and Arnold Edward Steel, Managing Director, retired. Arnold Edward (born 1908) was a younger son of Richard John Steel (1863-1924) and Emily Alice (nee Bailey).
