DescriptionIlford Photographic Paper box labelled 'Box X' and 'Poplar Mission'. Contains forty-three black and white images (forty-two photographs and two postcards) relating to Poplar Methodist Church. Some of the images are identified as being taken by W. Whiffin and contain descriptors/titles on the reverse.

The images are mostly of people at Poplar Methodist Church related events/parties/outings and undertaking group activities. They include photographs featuring Reverend Irvonwy Morgan; Mrs Lax; Reverend Tom Sutcliffe and of Reverend Lax's funeral. There are photographs of the foot clinic; Christmas nativity plays and other festive celebrations; tea parties; meetings; outings.
