| AdminHistory | The Bow and Poplar Constituency Labour Party was formed in 1983 when a decision was reached to abandon the all-purpose Tower Hamlets Labour Party in favour of sovereign constituency Labour parties for the newly created constituencies of Bethnal Green and Stepney, and Bow and Poplar.
The Bow and Poplar Labour Party ceased to exist in c. 1995 when, once again, the constituencies were re-organised to create the constituencies of Bethnal Green and Bow, and Poplar and Canning Town. |
