| CustodialHistory | These photographs and papers were found in a large manila envelope marked simply 'photos', and a document wallet marked 'Photos' 'Jil - Cable Street'. The photographs and prints in the former originate from Mr Arnold Schwartzman of California, whose family lived in Cable Street until the mid 20th century. The photocopies of photographs in the latter come from the Hulton-Deutsch Collection, Unique House, 21-31 Woodfield Road, London W9 2BA. The Hulton-Deutsch Collection appears to have been taken over by Getty Images. |
