| Description | Correspondence and related documentation concerning arrangements for the the Half Moon Topping Out event, 'Half Moon Hits the Roof!', 21 January 1984. The event, consisting of a traditional 'Topping Out' ceremony followed by a modern display, was held to mark the progress made on the building of the new theatre and the completion of the roof. It also provided an opportunity for the Half Moon to relaunch the New Half Moon Appeal and fundraise for this cause.
Includes the following material:
- 2 page letter to Lee Rogers from Steve Murphy (Half Moon Theatre Appeal Manager) dated 11 January 1984. This circular, sent to all members of the Half Moon Theatre Management Council, provides details of the Topping Out event and requests help on the Appeal stall from those members of the council planning to attend.
- 1 letter to Lee Rogers from Loesje Sanders (New Half Moon Appeal) dated 13 January 1984. The letter is regarding notes about the ceremony and Lee's role in opening and closing proceedings.
