| Description | Black box containing catalogue index cards, labelled 'Supplementary catalogue: prefix CMcC/SC' compiled by Peter Dobson, while he was sorting through Cornelius' studio after the artist's death. The index relates to works Peter Dobson found that had not been recorded by Cornelius.
At the front of the box is an index card with Cornelius' name, address and phone number printed on it, there are also several cards with notes written by Cornelius McCarthy labelled 'CMcC's Etchings Catalogue' and one small painting (reference number on the back is: 'CMcC SC/48'). The rest of the cards are notes on sketches written by Peter Dobson, numbered SC1-150, some cards include mounted photographs of artworks whereas others do not. These cards contain titles, brief descriptions and are dated. |
