| Description | A very small white, beige and red patterned sketchbook filled with very rough drawings. It is bound with board and paper and is approximately fifteen and a half centimetres tall by eleven wide. The sketches inside are nearly all landscape drawings, with no male nudes whatsoever. There are no page numbers.
This sketchbook is unusual for the sheer number of landscape drawings, more than in any other of McCarthy's books. There are also two postcards which have been inserted into the pages, one from the Sir John Soane's Museum and the other from the National Portrait Gallery. There are also rough notes at the back of the book.
Number of Sketches: 35 |
