| Description | A very large black bound with board and buckram and is approximately thirty five centimetres tall by twenty three wide. The sketchbook contains portraits, male nudes, landscapes and rough doodles. There are no page numbers.
On the first page McCarthy lists all of the figures he intends to draw?, including Pentheus, Sisyphus, Midas, Misenus, Daphnis and Asclepius. In addition he also draws Chiron the centaur and sketches images of ancient Olympic athletes in the classical style. At the end a note by Alec Ayres stating that "The large ssketches on previous six pages are not CMcC's work".
