August 27th (Cont'd) In Hanover.Visits God -daughter Emma Fehler.
August 28th Visits Twole Gardens and Zoological Gardens. Goes to Königl Resideuzschloss in Leiu Strasse. Visits the Royal stables. Describes various carriages he sees there. Goes to gardens of the palace to see the Mausoleum. Goes to Great Palace House and King Museum. Views a Bible there which belonged to Martin Luther.
August 29th Goes to University in Herreuhausea Strasse. Takes train to Brussels.
August 31st Arrives in Brussels. Takes train to Waterloo. Goes up the Lion Mount. Visits the farm of La Haye Sainte, a crucial position in the Battle of Waterloo. Returns to Brussels by train. Visits Palais de Justice, Cathedral of St. Gudull and Vauxhall Gardens.
September 1st Goes aboard train which stops at Eughieu, Ath, Touruai, Lille finally arriving at Calais. Arrives at Dover pier and gets home at 6pm.
