| Description | Partially used volume with the handwritten label: 'Admission Register 6/7/86 - 28/3/95' recording admissions, pupil progress and withdrawal. The name of the school is not provided anywhere in the volume, however, comparison with other admission registers for St. Anne's within this collection indicate that this is also, most likely, a record for St Anne's. For instance, there are entries within this volume which match some of the entries within the St Anne's register from an overlapping time period (I/STB/1/1/2). In addition, all three of the registers in this series (I/STB/1/1) evidently contain the same handwriting.
The volume includes an alphabetic index of pupils at the front and the entries which follow are arranged by a chronological admission number which appears to correspond with the date of admission/re-admission. Each page is divided into three sections with each record providing details on the pupil's 'admission', 'progress' and 'withdrawal'. Fields within these sections include: name of pupil; name of parent/guardian; address; exemption from religious instruction; date of birth; last school; class pupil is in at admission; standards; date of leaving and remarks. Admissions date from July 1886 - March 1895, however the overall date range of the material reflects later annotations. |
