In 1977 the Spitalfields Project set up a working group to focus on single homeless in the area, with the intention to spend up to 20% of Project funds over four years on services related to single homeless. The proposal was for a day centre located at Providence Row, together with a grant to No Fixed Abode (a co-ordinating organisation) and a request to the Borough Council to consider providing additional financial aid to No Fixed Abode. |
