| Description | A very large black sketchbook filled with rough drawings. It is bound with board and leather and is approximately thirty five and a half centimetres tall by twenty seven and a half wide. The sketches inside are mostly male nudes with a few portraits and profiles as well. There are no page numbers.
There are a handful of sketches of women in this sketchbook. Aside from that there is nothing unusual about the contents of this book, all the sketches are typical of McCarthy.

| PhysicalDescription | Condition: The condition of this book is similar to that of P/MCC/1/18. The front and back covers show minor signs of discolouration and creasing, whilst the spine is flaking at the top and bottom. Inside the book is comparatively well preserved, with few missing pages, though one near the back is coming away from the spine. |
