| Description | A very large black sketchbook filled with rough drawings. It is bound with board and leather and is approximately thirty five and a half centimetres tall by twenty seven and a half wide. The sketches inside contain male nudes, general pictures of the male form and a number of examples of cubist drawing. There are no page numbers.
There are a large number of cubist sketches in this sketchbook, with their frequency increasing towards the back. One particularly surreal image is entitled 'The Image of the Invisible God', which depicts a bizarre fusion of human limbs and geometric shapes.

| PhysicalDescription | Condition: Unfortunately this sketchbook is in extremely poor condition. The front and back covers are battered and the spine is flaking and creased. Inside the damage is even worse, with the entire book in danger of coming away from the spine. Many pages also appear to have been torn out, and there is evidence that scissors have been used to truncate certain images. |
