"These are my little dancing figures that often feature in my work or social media, a way of expressing myself and communicating simply. I was prompted to do them through the sadness of finding out someone youngish I knew had contracted the virus and sadly died. This was my way of wishing my fellow Eastenders wellness. I used chalk found in-situ, Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park - a beautiful place on my doorstep, where I spent a lot of time running, creating art and communing with nature throughout April/May/June/July."
