DescriptionPapers kept by Tamzin Hill, Landscape Advisor and Architect to the Council from c1998 with previous papers inherited from Glynis Warway. Tamzin Hill designed and implemented landscape improvement works at Altab Ali Park.

Correspondence and photographs of the phases of improvement works and costs since 1998. Also architectural drawings and plans, reports to recommend the name change from St Mary's Gardens to Altab Ali Park, different text options of park signs, the use of Altab Ali Park for demonstrations and events and the installation and unveiling ceremony of the Altab Ali Arch.

Also covers the Shaheed Minar installed in 1998, including correspondence concerning design and installation, text for the interpretation stone, relocation of the monument against the southern boundary of the park and on land owned by Tower Hamlets Council and on opening ceremony for the Shaheed Minar.

Includes sensitive enquiries from individuals in response to the renaming of the site and developments and related concerns within the council.
