Nari Samity was formed in April 1978 when there were no other Asian women's organisation in Tower Hamlets. The aims were to promote equal rights and opportunities development and interests, foster friendships between women in the community and promote and organise educational, social and leisure activities for Bangladeshi women, girls and children. |
