| AdminHistory | The firm was founded in 1820 and based in Mile End Road. It was later run by Charles Caught Moore who was born 27 August 1812 and was christened at St John's Chapel, Portsea, Hampshire. He was buried at St Dunstan Stepney and box tomb still stands. He joined partnership in 1862 with Theodore Moore in the business of 'auctioneers, valuers, house and estate agents'.
The business was later assigned by the Moore family to Vigers & Company in 1966-1967. |
